Complex and elegant, the burst of vibrant pomegranate comes in first with bright cherry notes on the finish. As it cools, the sticky sweetness of mango and orange appears, rewarding the patient drinker.
Nesru Aba Nura, the wife of Mensur, has completed her second harvest from her own 9-hectare farm in the Kota Kebele of Jimma. Nesru's coffee trees thrive at an impressive altitude of 1,950-2,000 meters above sea level. The cherries are carefully dried on raised beds for an average of 21 days, allowing for the development of exquisite flavours. This year's harvest showcases a beautiful profile, characteristic of high-quality natural processed coffees, with notes of vibrant pomegranate, juicy mango, and cherry, creating a harmonious bright combination.
We are honoured to continue our partnership with Nesru Aba Nura and present her exceptional coffee to the world. Her commitment and the distinct flavours of her second harvest present Ethiopian coffee production's ongoing growth and diversity.

More Info
As a coffee-producing country, Ethiopia has made remarkable progress over the past decade. With an estimated multitude of coffee varieties, most of which remain undiscovered, our knowledge currently extends to only a few hundred. We proudly specify the varieties in this particular lot rather than using the generic term "Heirloom." This distinction results from the extensive research undertaken to identify and appreciate the unique local varieties on Nesru's farm.
