As a global coffee roasting company, we are very fortunate to work with a huge number of interesting and talented people both inside of our business and within our communities. These are the people that inspire us to do what we do; our eatery regulars, our suppliers, our amazing wholesale clients, colleagues, friends, family and loyal online followers.
With 2020 being a year that challenged the resolve and resilience of every individual and business on the planet – our aim for the 2021 Journal was to bring together a collection of stories, perspectives and narratives that would inspire and celebrate meaningful change.
From the Norwegian design firm Snohetta designing and manufacturing beautiful and environmentally conscious furniture from waste plastic, to the positive impact the Girls Minds Matter team are having on the mental health of young women in the Taranaki community, to our sharing our ambitions to becoming a B-Corp Certified business in 2021, and the social enterprise Everybody Eats tackling the food impoverished in Auckland – we hope to demonstrate that we can all play a part in making meaningful changes for the better.
