Ethiopia Tega and Tula is a certified organic coffee, produced on two farms that are run by Ahadu Woubshet. Ahadu was formally the Chief Operations Officer for the Ethiopia Commodity Exchange (ECX) – the auctions where, until recently, all coffee in Ethiopia was traded.

Ahadu saw the potential for exceptional specialty coffee as a way to also support the local community so employees at Tega & Tula are paid significantly more than the local average. The Tega & Tula team are in the process of building an elementary school, due for completion in 2020, and they are also making plans to repair a road that connects the villages, Tega and Tula.
