Githaka Estate is in Muranga county approximately 12 kilometres from Thika town, at an altitude of 1550 masl.

The Nguri family have been farming on the Githaka Estate since the late 1970s. In recent years, second generation family members Tony, Margaret, Catherine and Mwaura Ngugi have taken over the management of the farm. They have a sustainable approach to farming and have worked to achieve the following certifications; Café Practices, Rainforest Alliance, UTZ and 4C.

This month we are pleased to offer two coffees from Githaka, highlighting how different lots on a farm can produce vastly different flavour attributes.
