Finca Limoncillo is owned by the now legendary coffee producing Mierisch family of Nicaragua. Lead by Dr. Erwin Miersich and his children Erwin, Eleane and Steve, they are renowned for the sheer volume of their consistently high-quality coffees. The family are truly dedicated to the sustainability and community of their operations, as they say, “It is a humbling effort that can only be achieved by focusing on one cherry, one tree, one day and one bag at a time”. They own 11 farms in total around Nicaragua and Honduras. Limoncillo itself is a huge 171 hectares and boasts 9 waterfalls. In the cup, expect tropical fruits, candied strawberry and peach aroma. We think the beauty of where this coffee comes from shines through its flavours.
