White grape, Lemon, Orange juice
Lots of juicy white grape at the front. This is carried by a consistent citrus acidity, and an underlying orange juice note.
We’re back in East Africa this week. This week’s coffee is from Rwanda, in the Gakenke region of Kigali, where we were fortunate enough to secure a lot from Auction. We took part in the Second Sunrise auction and managed to win Lot 5A from the Coffee Business Centre. This company has been producing coffee since 2002 and has expanded their operations into Burundi over the years. Mr Rwagasana has played a pioneering role in revitalising the Rwanda coffee industry in recent years.
