Specialty Coffee Beans From Thailand
Discover our current selection of specialty coffee from Thailand, sourced through long-standing partnerships with producers in the mountainous north. While Thailand may not be the first country that comes to mind for specialty coffee, it has a rich and evolving coffee culture rooted in sustainability and innovation.
Arabica coffee has been grown in Thailand since the early 1980s, originally introduced as part of the Thai King’s opium eradication initiative. The high-altitude regions of northern Thailand—such as Doi Pangkhon in Chiang Rai—offered ideal conditions for Arabica cultivation. Today, Thailand produces around 8,000 tonnes of Arabica coffee annually, alongside a much larger volume of Robusta, making it the third-largest coffee producer in Asia. Despite this, Thai specialty coffee remains relatively rare on the global stage. We're proud to showcase these exceptional coffees and support the producers behind them.
