About akt
akt's mission is profound and urgent. The charity works nationwide with LGBTQ+ young people aged 16-25, providing them with the support they need to thrive in the face of adversity. For many LGBTQ+ youth, coming out or being outed can result in becoming homeless. This harsh reality affects 77% of the young people akt supports. Currently, 24% of young homeless people identify as LGBTQ+, highlighting the critical need for akt's services.
akt operates from four offices located in London, Bristol, Manchester, and Newcastle, ensuring that help is accessible across the UK. They also offer a live chat service, providing immediate support for those in need, no matter where they are.
Introducing the coffee: Pride Edition: Inglaterra
Introducing our new limited-edition coffee from the Minas Gerais region in Brazil, sourced from the renowned Fazenda Inglaterra farm—a valued partner with whom Ozone has proudly collaborated for over a decade. This delicious coffee tastes like a big rush of sweet marzipan gets a drizzle of dark chocolate on the finish and a little hint of caramel on the aftertaste for a well balanced cup which will keep bringing you back for more.
