Muscovado sugar, Orange, Plum
We’re featuring a Costa Rican lot this week, from producer Don Rudolpho Rivera. Grown in the valley of Tarrazu, this farm is situated in a beautiful scenic location, with green valleys as far as you can see. This particular lot is a black honey processed Bourbon, which is a processing method commonly used in Costa Rica. The reason it’s so popular is the conservation of water. Honey-processed lots consume a lot more water than traditional washed methods and also add a certain flavour to the coffees which give them a unique profile.
