Benjamin comes from a coffee family. His grandfather was a coffee producer, and his father established a coffee trading company, Beneficio San Vicente, 40 years ago. Benjamin has been involved in the family business since childhood, learning various tasks such as de-pulping, drying, and storing coffee. After completing university, he focused on the specialty coffee program.
In 2013, Benjamin discovered a beautiful property called La Orquidea and immediately purchased it. He started cultivating Paca's coffee there the following year, despite initial challenges like poor access roads and high costs. In 2016, he began producing specialty micro-lots, which motivated him to persist.
Benjamin achieved significant recognition in 2022 when his washed Geisha coffee from La Salsa farm won first place in the Honduran Cup of Excellence. This accomplishment brought him happiness and satisfaction, fueling his desire to continue working hard and improving the quality of all his coffees.
