Apricot, Cranberry, Honey
Esmelin fell in love with coffee as a child when he was helping to his father and his grandfather on their farm.
After 17 years of working in a bank, Esmelin had the opportunity to buy 3 hectares plot of land from his grandfather. The following year, he planted the Parainema variety on half of the land. Parainema is a hybrid coffee varietal created in Honduras that is resistant to coffee-leaf rust and some nematodes. It’s well adapted to grow in medium altitudes and yields well.
His cousin guided him and explained to him the potential of speciality coffees; last year was his first micro-lot, and we are thrilled to share this coffee with you! Expect bright flavours of Apricots, Cranberries and a sweet, creamy honey mouthfeel.
