The San Jose farm belongs to the Mierisch family, members of whom also own Escondida (slightly further down the mountain) and Las Delicias (up the mountain). The beautiful view takes in the surrounding mountains and Lake Apanas, which generates hydroelectricity for Nicaragua from the Tuma river.
