This week we are visiting Peru!
Nima Juarez's farm, El Roble, is situated in the picturesque San Ignacio region, at La Coipa. Despite lacking infrastructure, Nima and her family take great pride in producing exceptional coffee. They work closely with Origin Coffee Lab and have invested in new raised drying beds to ensure quality. They have also found creative solutions to basic challenges, such as sourcing drinking water from a spring and growing edible plants. Their small beehive with native stingless bees provides honey and helps to pollinate their coffee plants.
