Rodomunho

This week we take you to the Minas Gerais region of Brazil. Here you’ll find Cristiano Ottoni, the owner of Fazenda Rodomunho. A man who’s family is synonymous with coffee, between him and his brothers they own mulitple farms and a roastery in Portland.

This particular lot from the Rodomunho estateis a classic example of a great Brazilian coffee. With Walnut and Hazelnut up front, followed by a silky chocolate orange body this coffee works well on all methods.

In the cup this displays all the things good about Brazilian coffee. Don't expect any acidity, it's has a smooth body with Walnut and Hazelnut dominating the flavour here, but they’re backed up by sweet chocolate orange.

  • Region: Cerrado De Minas, Minas Gerais
  • Producer: Christiano Ottoni
  • Variety: Red Catuai
  • Process: Natural
  • Altitude: 1,050 masl
