Asian Coffee Beans

Asia encompasses some of the most geographically and stylistically diverse coffee-producing countries in the world. From the volcanic archipelagos of Indonesia to the high-altitude farms of India's Nilgiri and Coorg regions, and the emerging specialty scenes in Thailand, China's Yunnan province, and Myanmar, the continent's coffee-growing areas share little beyond their latitude. Profiles range from the full-bodied, low-acid, earthy character associated with Indonesia's wet-hulled Sumatran coffees to the cleaner, florally complex cups coming from Thailand's northern highlands.

Asian coffees tend to be underrepresented in the specialty market relative to Africa and Latin America, which makes finding genuinely well-sourced lots from the region worth the effort. We source from Asia when the right coffees become available, with Thailand a particular focus for us currently. Any lots we are roasting will appear in this collection, or browse by country below.
