What size should I choose?
Small fits the 300ml Clever Dripper; Large fits the 500ml Clever Dripper. If you're unsure which model you have, check the base of your brewer — it will say 300ml or 500ml. The small is equivalent to a standard size 2 cone filter, and the large to a standard size 4.
Can I use these filters with other brewers — not just the Clever Dripper?
Yes. The small filter is a standard size 2 cone, compatible with size 2 cone brewers including the Melitta 1x2, Hario V60 (size 02), and similar. Do I need to rinse the filter before brewing?
We recommend it. A quick rinse with hot water removes any residual paper taste, preheats the brewer, and helps the filter sit flat and properly in the cone — all of which contribute to a more consistent extraction.
