    • Backwards compatible – all parts interchangeable with the MK3.

    Engineered for longevity, the Comandante C40 MK4 is more than a grinder - it’s a lifelong brewing companion. Each unit includes a clear and brown jar for grinding and storing beans.

    • Grind Capacity: ~40g of coffee beans per batch
    • Grind Range: Suitable for all brew methods - from ultra-fine Turkish coffee to coarse cold brew. Stepped grind adjustment with ~12 clicks per rotation; each click equals ~30 microns. Compatible with Red Clix upgrade for finer control (15 microns per click).
    • Burr Set: Patented Nitro Blade® conical burrs made from high-alloy, high-nitrogen martensitic stainless steel. Engineered for ultra-sharp edges, low grind retention, and consistent particle size distribution.
    • Steel Quality: Burrs crafted from Nitro Rex® - a custom steel alloy with over 17% chromium, plus vanadium and molybdenum for exceptional hardness, corrosion resistance, and flavour neutrality.
    • Axle & Bearings: Stainless steel axle with dual micro ball bearings for smooth, wobble-free grinding and efficient torque transfer.
    • Body Material: Stainless steel core with a natural wood veneer wrap. Durable, tactile, and built to last.
    • Pommel: 100% natural oak wood knob, magnetically attached for ergonomic comfort.
    • Grind Catchers: Includes one amber glass jar and one ultra-durable polymer jar (QTP® techno-polymer reinforced with quartz nanoparticles). Both are food-safe, tasteless, and fit common brewing devices like Aeropress, 58mm portafilters, and Moka pots.
