The Fellow Stagg EKG Pro is a gooseneck kettle with to-the-degree temperature control, a full-colour LCD display and a set of brewing features the standard EKG doesn't have. The 1200W element heats water quickly across a 40°C to 100°C range, the gooseneck spout gives you a slow, controlled pour for pour-over coffee and tea, and the PID controller holds your target temperature to within half a degree.
Where the Pro steps beyond the standard EKG is the brewing side. Programmable scheduling, altitude adjustment, hold times up to 60 minutes, a built-in brew stopwatch, guide mode with preset temperatures for different methods, and Wi-Fi for firmware updates through the Fellow Updater app. The 304 18/8 stainless steel body is finished in matte black with a counterbalanced handle, and it holds 0.9L, enough for a couple of pour-overs back to back.

What's the difference between the Stagg EKG and the Stagg EKG Pro?
The EKG Pro adds a full-colour LCD display, Wi-Fi connectivity for firmware updates, and extra features including scheduling, altitude adjustment, and customisable hold times. The core temperature control and gooseneck spout are shared across both.
Can I control the kettle remotely using the app?
Not currently. The EKG Pro supports Wi-Fi for firmware updates via the Fellow Updater app, but remote control features are not yet available.
Is the kettle suitable for brewing tea as well as coffee?
Yes. With temperature control to half a degree and preset brew guides, it handles delicate white and green teas as easily as full-bodied black and herbal blends.
Does the kettle automatically shut off?
Yes. It includes boil-dry protection and auto shut-off. You can also set the hold mode to keep water hot for up to 60 minutes before it powers down.
Can I use this kettle outside the UK?
The kettle is available in region-specific models. Make sure you buy the correct voltage version. The UK model runs on 220-240V, and using the wrong voltage may damage the unit or void the warranty.
