AeroPress Paper Micro-Filters - Standard (350 Filters)

Official AeroPress Paper Micro-Filters - 350 pack
Genuine AeroPress paper micro-filters, the ones that come fitted to every new AeroPress and give the brewer its signature clean, bright, grit-free cup. Each pack contains 350 filters - around a year's worth of daily brewing - and the same standard-size filter fits the AeroPress Original, Go, Go Plus and Clear.
Why micro-filters make the difference
The 64mm paper micro-filter is what separates an AeroPress brew from any other immersion method. Where a French press lets oils and fine particles pass through into the cup - producing the heavier, grittier texture French press drinkers know well - the AeroPress paper filter traps those oils and sediment, leaving a cleaner, sweeter, more transparent cup that lets origin character come through. Reusable metal filters work too, but they let more oil through and produce a different cup; the paper micro-filter is what most AeroPress recipes and championship brews are designed around.

Compatibility
This 350-pack is the standard-size AeroPress filter (64mm diameter). It fits:
- AeroPress Original
- AeroPress Go
- AeroPress Go Plus
- AeroPress Clear and AeroPress Premium
Please note: the AeroPress XL is a larger brewer and takes its own larger paper filter — these standard filters won't fit it.
How to use AeroPress paper filters
Place a single filter inside the filter cap, then briefly rinse with hot water before brewing. The rinse warms the chamber and washes off any faint paper taste, both of which help the finished cup taste cleaner. After brewing, the filter and spent puck pop out together - straight into the food waste bin.
About the brewer: the AeroPress was invented in 2005 by Stanford engineer Alan Adler and is now used by baristas, home brewers and travellers in more than 60 countries. Read the full story on our AeroPress Original product page.

Can I reuse AeroPress paper filters?
The paper micro-filters are designed for single use, but they hold up well to rinsing and can be reused several times if you'd like to stretch a pack further. A quick rinse under the tap after brewing is all it takes.
How many brews will a 350-pack last?
At one filter per brew, a 350-pack lasts around a year for an average daily AeroPress drinker. If you reuse each filter two or three times, one pack can comfortably stretch to two or three years.
Are AeroPress filters compostable?
Yes. The paper micro-filters are 100% compostable and biodegradable - drop the used filter into your food waste bin or home compost along with the spent grounds.
What size are AeroPress paper filters?
The standard AeroPress paper filter is 64mm in diameter - a small flat disc designed to sit inside the filter cap.
Will these filters fit the AeroPress XL?
No. The AeroPress XL is a larger brewer and uses its own larger paper filter. This 350-pack is the standard size, which fits the AeroPress Original, Go, Go Plus, Clear and Premium.
Do I need to rinse AeroPress filters before brewing?
It's optional but recommended. Briefly rinsing the filter with hot water before brewing pre-warms the chamber and removes any faint paper taste, both of which help the cup taste cleaner.
Can I use a regular coffee filter or Chemex filter in my AeroPress?
No - standard cone-shaped filters won't fit the AeroPress filter cap. The AeroPress takes a small 64mm flat disc filter, so use either these paper micro-filters or a reusable metal AeroPress filter.
How should I store AeroPress filters?
Keep them in a dry place, ideally in the storage carton they ship in. The filter holder included with the AeroPress Go is also handy for keeping a travel supply dry and dust-free.
