Fellow Eddy Steaming Pitcher
-
Fellow describes the Eddy Steaming Pitcher as the barista's paintbrush, and it's easy to see why. Most milk jugs are built around a simple pressed spout, but Eddy runs a sharp crease down the front of the jug that flows into a fluted spout. That gives you a narrow, precise stream when you need fine detail, and a fuller flow when you want to lay down a base or push a big rosetta. If you've mastered hearts and are working towards stacked tulips and fine-lined rosettas, this is the jug that makes the difference visible in the cup.
Everything else is built around control. The tapered body helps milk spin into a smooth, consistent whirlpool as you steam, which is the key to glossy, well-integrated microfoam. The ribbon handle supports several grip styles, whether you hold from the handle or wrap your fingers around the body. Inside, measurement markings take the guesswork out of portioning: up to 10oz in the 12oz pitcher and up to 12oz in the 18oz, so you steam the right amount every time and waste less milk.
Eddy is made from 304 18/8 stainless steel and comes in two finishes: classic polished steel, or a polished graphite that looks striking next to a black or brushed machine. The 12oz is the go-to for cortados, flat whites and single cappuccinos, while the 18oz has room for lattes and larger milk drinks. Both are dishwasher safe. Want to compare a few jugs before you choose? We also stock the competition-built Barista Hustle Pitcher 2.0, the non-stick Rhino Stealth Black Milk Pitcher, and Subminimal's FlowTip both with a handle and handleless.

Should I choose the 12oz or 18oz Eddy?
For single milk drinks up to a cappuccino or flat white, choose the 12oz. A smaller jug is easier to control, and the milk stretches and spins better when the jug isn't overfilled. The 18oz is better for lattes, larger cups or steaming for two drinks at once.
What does the sharp crease do?
The crease runs down the front of the jug and channels milk into the spout in a tight, controlled line. It lets you draw fine detail, such as the thin line that cuts through a heart or rosetta, more precisely than a standard rounded spout.
How much milk should I steam in the Eddy?
Fill to just below the base of the spout, which is roughly where the internal markings top out: up to 10oz in the 12oz pitcher and up to 12oz in the 18oz. That leaves enough headroom for the milk to expand and roll as you texture it. Using the markings each time also helps you steam consistently and cut down on waste.
What's the difference between polished steel and graphite?
Only the look. Both are made from the same 304 18/8 stainless steel with the same shape, spout and markings. Graphite has a darker polished finish that pairs well with black or brushed machines, while polished steel is the classic café look.
Is the Eddy dishwasher safe?
Yes, both finishes are dishwasher safe. To keep your milk kit fully clean, flush and wipe your steam wand after every jug, and use our Pallo Steamy Wanda to clear residue from inside the wand.
Does the Eddy work with plant-based milks?
Yes. Fellow designed Eddy for any milk or non-dairy drink, from cortados to lattes. Plant-based milks can be a little less forgiving to texture, so the extra control from the tapered body and spout is especially useful.
Is the Eddy suitable for beginners?
Absolutely. The internal markings take the guesswork out of how much milk to use, and the spout makes it easier to pour a clean heart early on. As your skills grow, the crease and fluted spout give you room to progress to more detailed designs.
How does the Eddy compare to the Subminimal FlowTip?
Both are built for precise latte art, but they feel different in the hand. Eddy has a ribbon handle and a creased, fluted spout, and comes in two sizes. The FlowTip is a single 450ml jug with a patented spout designed for a smooth, steady flow. It comes with a heat-resistant handle that's also safe on the hob, or handleless with a silicone sleeve for a closer, fingertip grip.
How does the Eddy compare to the Barista Hustle Pitcher 2.0 and Rhino Stealth?
The Barista Hustle Pitcher 2.0 is a classic-shaped jug built to a competition standard, with guaranteed spout and handle alignment, a laser-welded handle and markings in millilitres, in 400ml and 600ml sizes. The Rhino Stealth is a heavy, 1mm-thick café workhorse with a non-stick coating that rinses clean after steaming, in 360ml and 600ml sizes. Eddy stands apart with its creased, fluted spout for fine detail, its tapered body and its graphite finish. It's also the only one of the three that's dishwasher safe.
